At The Takedown Lounge, we believe that the journey to your next hairstyle starts with a gentle and serene transition. We specialize in professional braid removal and deep detangling, offering a sanctuary where you can finally sit back and relax.
Our signature service, the Gentle Takedown, is designed for those who value both their time and the integrity of their hair. We remove your braids, twists, or extensions with infinite patience, using precision tools to ensure your natural hair is never compromised. Once the braids are out, we move to our Knot-Free Deep Detangling process. Using high-slip professional treatments, we gently eliminate residue and shed hair section by section, leaving your curls free, soft, and perfectly prepared. For hair worn too long or severely matted, our Rescue Session provides an extra level of care, using natural oil elixirs to save every strand with expert delicacy.
Your comfort is our standard. While we work, you are invited to immerse yourself in our VIP Entertainment experience. Put on your AirPods, connect to the studio tablet, and catch up on your favorite shows on Netflix, Disney+, or Hulu. In our chic, smoke-free, and soothing setting, we don’t just undo your hair—we take care of you.

Bookings
When making your reservation, if you don’t find a time that suits you, please feel free to text us at (302) 657-6571. We will do our best to accommodate you!
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to confirm your reservation. This amount will be deducted from your final bill on the day of service. The deposit is non-refundable, but you can rebook within 7 days.
Payments
We only accept cash payments on the day of service. We do not accept Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle.
Kids
We welcome children aged 6 and over, provided they are accompanied by an adult. Please inform us in advance of any special needs your child may have.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that all cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the total service cost. In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the full (100%) service cost will be charged.
Late policy
Please arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period will be allowed.
After this time, your appointment will be canceled and you will need to reschedule. And you will lose your deposit.

Waiver
Furthermore, all clients must complete and sign the liability waiver before their appointment. Failure to do so may result in the appointment being rescheduled.
Tangled / Matted Hair / 3+months
If the hair has started to become significantly tangled (generally after more than 3 months of regrowth or neglect), we reserve the right to charge an additional detangling fee of $50 PER HOUR. This will remain at Undo’s discretion.
Tangled / Matted Hair / Beginning to Loc @ Roots
- If your braids have been in for 2+ months, there is a higher chance of matting and tangling at the roots, which requires extra time and care to remove safely.
- A $35 additional fee will be applied for moderate matting.
- If your hair is severely matted and requires extended detangling time, an additional fee will be added per extra hour will be charged.
- Final assessment will be made upon arrival. Clients will be informed of any additional charges before the service begins.

Hair Length
To ensure we provide the best service possible, we kindly ask that you check the length of your hair before booking. If your hair is at the bra strap, you MUST select the corresponding option during checkout to avoid any service delays or additional charges.
Sizing Braid Test
Upon your arrival, UNDO will perform a quick sizing braid test at each appointment to match your braids to our swatch braid ring. This ensures your booking reflects your actual braid size. Service time and pricing may be adjusted based on the results.
